great news!

Ok, so it's great news but not baby related. I finished my last round of chemotherapy yesterday!! Woohoo! I still have 7 or so weeks of radiation but will then be in remission! I am so happy!

I feel like a bloghog since Jennifer hasn't blogged anything for a bit so hopefully she will be posting something soon ;) No pressure or anything Jen!

  1. Congrats on the final chemo session and good luck going into radiation!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your awesome comment last night. You seriously made my week. Thank you.

Know that you have another survivor/donor egg user/hopeful mom via surrogate in your corner rooting you on.

  2. Hi there:

I found your blog from the Maybe Baby blog. I am also a cancer survivor, but my situation was not as intense as yours. I was diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer at age 28, 3 years ago. My husband and I had only been together 1.5 years (and he wasn't yet my husband) so we decided to go forward with the hysterectomy as we didn't know if we wanted children yet. We are currently on the no child path, but I find it so inspiring to read stories like yours, because I know if him and I change our minds, we have options and that other people have done this. I wish you all the luck in getting the baby/babies you and your husband desire. I am sure it will work out for you! I have subscribed to your blog and I look forward to reading more about your journey.

HUGE congrats on finishing chemotherapy and good luck with the radiation.
